Outdoor Escape...

I love the outdoors! And can't wait to get outside this weekend. We are headed to the lake (probably my favorite outdoor escape) to relax, play, and celebrate my husband's birthday. Here are some lovely outdoor settings, enticing an outdoor adventure and to get out and relax this weekend.

Posh Patio...

Summer time makes you want to get outside, and who wouldn't enjoy lounging on this patio. The couple transformed their sheltered patio into their chic tropical retreat, with a designed and constructed daybed lounge, updated outdoor kitchen, new patio furniture, neutral backdrop with splashes of yellow and green to complement the surroundings, abundant natural light, and last but not least, an outdoor shower (we just can't get enough of them!).

Image of the day...

I was delighted to find this image from Country Home (and it is in a guest room). Two of my favorite things... an outdoor shower and wire baskets. I expressed my love for outdoor showers and found out I wasn't alone. Courtney @ In(side) the Loop had a great post on outdoor showers; which made me love and want one even more! I have also expressed my love for all things wire. What a clever and useful application for them used here.

On a Wire...

Yesterday over at Beach Bungalow 8, she posted on a wire basket collection that I am so jealous of! I would consider myself a 'wire basket junkie' as well, with only a small collection so far.
